Happy New Year! Once again, it has been a very long time since I last wrote. So, I'll attempt to tell a lot of stories from the past 2 months with pictures. Since the beginning of November, we had a great family vacation to Sanibel Island with Mom, Steve and a visit from Amanda. We enjoyed being outside except to sleep. We loved cruising around the island on cruiser bikes with kid seats attached to the back. Sheldon and Coranelle loved the beach. Sheldon liked digging and destroying sand castles and Coranelle could spend hours collecting shells. It was a great time for the family and Ryan and I enjoyed the chance to get away for lots of dates, bike rides and walks.

We then spent a nice thanksgiving with Bruce, Heidi, Josh, Claire, Anders and Claire's family. I feel as if Christmas came very quickly and then New Years was right around the corner. The kids were a really fun age at Christmas. Sheldon was so happy with his wooden train, we could have kept all of his other gifts for later in the year. Coranelle was at a stage where opening presents was beyond thrilling. She hardly looked at what she opened before wanting another to open. She loves her new doll house and wooden dolls to dress up. We shared Christmas between families and enjoyed Ryan home for a few extra days to take trips to the museum, pool, pearl street, friends' houses, play places and lots of fires, movies and playing at home.

Although we had a great break, I'm ready to get back into a routine. Coranelle will go back to preschool with a new teacher on the 7th. Sheldon will go back to gymnastics and both kids will start a new session of swim lessons.

That's all for now, but I would really like to get back into blogging more regularly in 2013- so stay tuned!
